Operational Update Following Hurricane Beryl
PERTTULA, Texas, July 9, 2024 -- Isla Perttula Corporation (NYSE: IPC) today provided an update following Hurricane Beryl, which made landfall near Matagorda, Texas on July 8, 2024.
All Company personnel are accounted for. The Company has declared force majeure on certain Chemicals segment products produced at Perttula Works while facilities are inspected. Perttula Power Station remained in operation throughout the storm.
Perttula Community Services LLC restored service to all residential customers in the Perttula community within 36 hours. Isla Perttula Air resumed scheduled service at Cardwell Field on July 10.
