Perttula Works has produced chlorine, caustic soda and ethylene dichloride since 1957, drawing on brine from the Perttula Dome and power from Perttula Power Station. The segment also includes Gulf Crescent Chlorine at Lake Charles, Louisiana, Sabine Barytes Company, and Borealis Oilfield Chemicals.
